Hi, I'm Paola Perez, a Cuban-American creative from Miami, Florida, and storytelling has shaped how I view the world.

Whether I am behind the scenes or collaborating with a team, my goal is to create meaningful production work that resonates with those who watch it and continue to develop my storytelling skills through these experiences.

I’m currently a Media Production, Management, and Technology student specializing in Digital Film and TV Production at the University of Florida, diving head-first into crafting compelling visual narratives for the video medium.

Over the past few years, I’ve had the chance to work across many corners of the industry. I’ve directed and edited video for Generation Sketch Comedy, produced PBS-broadcast content for the Orange and Blue Film Festival, and contributed to show development at WUFT-TV. I’m also a founding board member of Red Crows Productions, where I’ve helped produce short films across Florida and launched an educational program to support emerging high school filmmakers. My work in scripted development at Renovo Media Group, along with my time at the Miami-Dade Film Commission, has deepened my passion for storytelling and strengthened my understanding of the industry from the inside out.

No matter the role, I’m driven by the belief that great stories connect people—and I’m always excited to help make those stories happen.
