video director
Generation Sketch Comedy is Gainesville's longest-running sketch comedy troupe, inspired by shows like Saturday Night Live. Through auditions, actors are selected to perform in video sketches and a live multi-media show during the Fall and Spring semesters. Each week, members write and workshop comedy scripts to prepare for our free semester shows, delivering unforgettable comedy experiences to the Gainesville community while helping members grow as writers, actors, and creatives.

As Video Director for Generation Sketch Comedy, I’ve had the joy of combining my love for storytelling with my passion for making people laugh. I direct, produce, and edit all of the group’s video content for our bi-annual shows. From the initial brainstorming sessions to the final edit, I am involved in every step of the creative process.
Comedy requires sharp timing, creative collaboration, and the ability to think on your feet, which is exactly what draws me to it. In this role, I lead the entire production pipeline, ensuring each sketch is both technically polished and true to the group’s comedic voice. Watching an idea grow from a rough concept into a fully realized piece is what makes this work so rewarding.
